Submission Guidelines

Easychair

The submissions will be handled via a conference management system known as Easychair. Both abstracts and full papers should be submitted through the conference website:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=7osme.

If you do not have an account with Easychair, use the link provided above to create an account.

Important: If you have an account, or if you have just created an account, you MUST use the above link to log in in order to get to the 7OSME submission page. If you use general link of Easychair to log in, you will end up somewhere else.

Abstract Submission

Before 1st December 2017, only abstracts are required. You shall be notified of the review outcome no later than 6th February 2018, and then submit the full papers if you are invited to do so.

A 2-page A4-sized abstract should be submitted in PDF format. Two templates are provided, one in MS Word and the other in LaTeX. You may include figures and tables in your submission.

When you submit the abstract using Easychair, you will find a number of tracks, e.g., Engineering and Technology, Mathematics, etc.. Please choose the one which is most relevant to your submission. If your submission spans two or more tracks, please still choose a prefered track and then highlight this nature using the keywords.

Full Paper Submission

We aim to make the proceedings of 7OSME available at the meeting, which will then be published as a book entitled "Origami7". As a result, the gap between notification of acceptance of abstracts and the deadline for full paper submission becomes rather short. Hence, templates for the full paper are provided below, and you are encouraged to start preparing the full paper now.

Please write your paper using the available MS Word or LaTeX templates. Both files also contain information on formatting. Please make sure that you do NOT change the formatting in any way for this is the format for the proceedings. Once you have completed your paper, save/print/export to a PDF file and then submit it. Like the abstract, only submission in PDF format is accepted.

The maximum length of the full paper is 14 pages. Please contact us if you have a good reason to exceed the preferred length. Only under exceptional circumstances would longer papers be permitted.
